Meet Dr Greco DVM DACVS
Our Founder & Chief Surgeon
Justin J. Greco, DVM, Diplomate, ACVS (Board certified veterinary surgeon),
a native of southern California founded Precision Veterinary Specialists in 2016. His vision is to offer veterinarians and their patients the best university level surgical service possible by an experienced, board certified surgeon, and making the experience as pleasant as possible for the client and the patient. Dr. Greco lives in San Clemente with his wife, two children, his yellow lab Wesley (photo to the right) and his Guinea pig Nacho!
Dr. Greco has been board certified in veterinary surgery since 2007. He is a 2002 Phi Zeta graduate of the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of California, Davis. Upon graduation, he completed a rotating internship at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine. He received his formal surgical training at the Animal Medical Center, in New York City. After completing his surgical residency he went on to become a lecturer in surgery at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine and stayed on as a staff orthopedic surgeon and then adjunct assistant professor for 4 years.

Dr. Greco is supported by a highly skilled and compassionate support staff. Including Dr Joshua Montel, a veterinarian with over 10 years of experience and Dr. Kristen Woosley a veterinarian board certified in emergency and critical care is also available to assist with higher risk procedures.

Local steroid/local anesthetic injections
All patients are meticulously monitored under anesthesia by highly skilled and experienced technicians with state of the art monitoring equipment. For patients not ready to go home the same day overnight care is available. Dr. Kristen Woosley DVM, DACVECC will also be available for higher risk procedures. Pain control is taken very seriously at PVS and all patients will be aggressively treated for pain. In addition to continuous infusions of pain medications and overnight care most patients will also be given a very safe and long acting local anesthetic (Nocita).
